Yubatake ,the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen
Kusatsu Onsen Tourist Association
Kusatsu Onsen is widely regarded as Japan's premier hot spring area. At its heart lies the iconic Yubatake (lit. "hot spring field"), where more than 4,000 liters of mineral-rich hot spring water flow every minute. The rising clouds of white steam and the gentle hot spring scent instantly melt away the stresses of everyday life.
After dark, the Yubatake is beautifully illuminated, and a leisurely stroll through the nostalgic hot spring town in a yukata invites visitors to slow down and savor the moment.

Because the Kusatsu hot spring water is highly acidic and reaches high temperatures, it is said that soaking your hands or feet for just a few minutes provides the benefits of a full bath.
